Nature abhors a vacuum ctd...

My sister, Melissa, told me that Friday's blog post reminded her of our dad. He used to walk into her bedroom and comment on the mess by saying, "Well, nature abhors a vacuum." That was sweet. I guess we know that something's going to fill a space, whether we are conscious of it or not. And so, we make sure to be intentional about what we sow and what takes its place.

When we give our lives to God, we know we're not just giving our lives to anyone or anything. And so, we know God fills us with His life as a result.

When we have free space, we can be idle and let whatever comes our way, get in us. Or, we can choose what fills our thoughts, our time, our homes, our lives.
